A Message From The Director
Hello, and Welcome to CRS.
We are a small learning center dedicated to children and education. We provide a personalized, stimulating and supportive environment where students can enrich their learning experiences.
We offer one-to-one tutoring and small group tutoring in all academic subjects. We also conduct seminars in a variety of topics. Topics include study skills, test preparation and writing workshops. Many of these workshops help to build and strengthen executive functioning skills. All of our programs are interactive and designed to supplement, reinforce and enhance school learning.
In addition to our academic programs, we offer Speech and Language Therapy to students with IEPs and IESPs. Using evidence-based treatments, our speech and language therapists work with students individually and in small groups to address speech, language, and feeding disorders. Often times, difficulty with speech and language skills can affect a child’s self-concept. Research shows that Speech and Language Therapy can help raise self-esteem in children.
We also offer Counseling services. Our child-friendly counselors are able to engage children and provide support so that they can have a positive experience both in and out of school. Our therapists work with students on many issues including anxiety, peer relationships, depression, self-esteem. They help improve executive functioning skills. Like our other services, Counseling services can also be provided in-person in your child’s school or virtually through zoom. Private family therapy services are also available.
Our learning center is dedicated to helping children reach their full potential. We look forward to partnering up with schools, parents and other community centers to provide children with the best services and resources possible.
Sincerely,
Luz Blanco
